BRAIN Initiative®

If you are writing a proposal to the NIH BRAIN Initiative®, we invite you to consider NeuroNexus as a collaborator or supplier for your research program. As an official BRAIN Initiative® industry partner, NeuroNexus is uniquely positioned at the intersection of neuroscience, technology, and clinical applications. Our extensive portfolio of custom designs demonstrates our understanding and appreciation of the uniqueness of your research.

DBS Arrays

As a subsidiary of Nuvectra, NeuroNexus has access to state-of-the-art neuromodulation technologies and devices used in human therapies. The NeuroNexus neuromodulation catalog includes both conventional neuromodulation leads, as well as high-density, thin-film microelectrodes. Both types of leads can be customized and configured for recording and/or stimulation.

Our SmartBox™ provides a powerful yet cost-effective solution for neural data acquisition. The SmartBox™ stimulation modules provide up to 25 channels of independent constant-current sources with advanced stimulation protocols (frequency, amplitude, and waveforms), and come in three form factors - desktop, wearable, and implantable.

To learn more about our offerings for clinical research applications, download the Neuromodulation brochure. Contact us today to discuss your research, and learn how our turnkey solutions can get you up and running quickly.

Science Update Collaborator

The Science Update provides a forum for users to communicate, collaborate, and share their published work. We are looking for graduate students or postdoctoral fellows to work with us on keeping the Science Update current and comprehensive.

Here’s how it works: Those chosen to participate will be sent a pack of research papers to read, with an attached set of basic questions to answer for each paper. Once you finish that pack of papers and submit your answers to us, we validate the information and send you a check.

Program Benefits

  • Get paid to keep up with the literature in your field
  • Work experience - build your CV
  • Build a working relationship with one of the most successful companies in neuroscience
  • Gain experience and discipline-specific knowledge

Participant Requirements

  • An undergrad degree in a related engineering or science field
  • Enrollment in a graduate school program OR employment as a post-doctoral fellow
  • A curriculum vitae (CV) or resume
